The suffering of the women in the Congo, particularly in the east of the country has long reached biblical proportions, yet and still the silence continues throughout the global community. Congolese activist Marie-Claire Faray Breaks the Silence and shares what progressive Congolese women are calling on the Congolese government and the International community to do to bring an end to the conflict.

Congolese women inside and outside of the Congo are offering prescriptions to global leaders through speaking, writing, activism, and organizing but world leaders are not acting.
